Murs: EVIL C'S favorite underground rapper!! he works hard and goes hard..I can't think of any exceptional standouts from him..his whole library is sold..I'd just peep is felt albums
Papoose: great NY rapper...Mixtape legend..I'd peep his "best of pap" mixtape..but his "hail mary" freestyle was sick..
Strange Fruit Project is sutff. I'm not that much into ..if you wanna get into them I'd probably recomend the healing

Slum Village: is DOPE!! their the hottest this outta Detroit ...ever!!anwyay..their sound is a lot like NY..and "detroit deli"=greatest Detroit album this decade..and if you like them check out black milk and Phat cat..their closely affiliated and sound every much alike

Pharoahe monda(not sure about the spelling) It's Monche (I think) and he is a dope rapper..but hops on some whack beats for real..desire is his new album this year..and the rappin is great..but the production is not...I'd check out his mixtape "the awakening"
Black milk: is dope yo!! he is a GREAT PRODUCER and kinda sounds like dilla at times..and hes a sick rapper..Hes pretty new to the MC scene..but his new album "Popular demand" is hot..

MURS - Should be around a while.has a nice flow and offers something fresh.
K-os - Needs to be regarded as a leader in the Rap Game. His maturity and approach in needed among the children at play.
Souls Of Mischief - (did they break up?) If they stayed together, could have been Wu Tang West! One of the dopest Groups ever.
Slum Village - Again,another Mature group,even without JDilla, still worthy of making good music.
People Under the Stairs - Don't get the Props they deserve. Beats are Nice.More groups should peep them for Production like they do Neptunes,Kayne,Timbo. ect. Alot of cats will have better CD's if they did.
