A good rock guitar?!

Question: sorry to bother you but i have a very important question. I have been playing acoustic guitar for about 2 years and i want to move up to an electric guitar. I was thinking about getting the Epiphone Zack Wylde Les Paul or an Epiphone Les Paul Studio. I was wondering if you have any suggestions.

P.S. I will be playing alot of heavy rock and Power metal, but i also want to be able to play softer stuff too.

Thank you for taking the time to read this email

Whatever you do, don't go with Epiphone. Their Les Paul's are very akward. If I were you I'd go with either a Fender Strat, an Explorer or the Shector Omen. I've been playing guitar for about five year and I'm into play heavy/grunge rock and I personally love anything with double-coiled pickups. The Strat is basic, it's light and the fender's usually come with good quality pickups which will give you a nice, clean-cut sound which allows a lot of room for you to work in your overdrive/distortion effects. Honestly, though, I would go with the explorer. I own an explorer and it is totally awesome.

les paul

I hear Schecter makes nice metal guitars

Gibson firebird. It's awesome. Try the Gibson Corvus also.

i'd go for the les paul studio

I would go with an American made Fender Stratocaster. It's a good all-around guitar.

i play a fender stratocaster. you can get the mexican one pretty cheap and its a pretty versitile guitar

yo mamma

seriously i own an Epiphone les Paul and i fender strat and with the strat you can play anything... it is the most versitile guitar out there... seriously get a strat

One word Stratocaster.

YOUR A BIT FAST WITH THE THUMBS DOWN
SO DONT F * * KIN ASK US AGAIN U J E R K

Either one. They both get great reviews. You may tire of the Zakk Wlyde paint job. Epiphones are a tremendous value.
Check out there SG models too. For the best price go the Guitar Center.

Go with the Zack Les Paul, if not Zack go with the Ace Les Paul..... Bring attention to yourself!!!!!!!!!!

i personally love Ibanez, and alot of metal guitarist use them

I have heard G-------s ROCK!!! What the guy down below said that starts with a G... That one! But, then I dont play guitar, my kids do. I just haven't learned how, yet. One day I will want to know however, how to play because I love Folk, on the acoustic guitar!!! Jewel type of folk!!! Smile!!!

Zack Les Paul or Fender Stratocaster =]] i have both and theyre kickass

Can't go wrong with a Les Paul. Screw the Squier.

Explorers are pretty good too.

get a heavy fat strat american made...these guitars are best for rock

are you ready with the thumbs down button???...53 years of production and every "C**ts" got one!...yes its the Fender "Clit0r1s"?...or stratocaster!...thats the best guitar for everything...

American made Strat; not the Squire, or PRS SE.

if you play all that stuff than you may want to invest in a fat strat or a gibson sg. Epis are not worth it. Fenders are amazing guitars, so the fat strat might be a good choice. Gibsons are amazing sounding, but their quality isnt always the best. Ibanezes are good for the price as well.

get an M.I.J (made in Japan) fender stratocaster there on the expensive side but well worth it great guitar

stratocasters are affordable and nice. go for the squire.
