... i think i know what you are trying to get at here about the younger generation missing out on the classics...personally i like the modern country a lot more than the older stuff, but i've started to like some of the older songs now that contemporary stuff has brought me into the genre.

Is 25 young enough to be considered "young people"? Anyway, I'd head to the second one, just to see George Jones. Can't say I'm familiar with the opening acts, but if they're playing with George Jones they'd be alright by me. Better than that poppy stuff playing at the other venue.

#1 they just played in the woodlands tx. and i saw them and they were amazing...taylores my favorite singer!
#2 by far!! taylor and kelly ew, brads ok. but no one, no one touches George Jones!! I got to see george 2 years ago in york, pa. I started bawlin when he came out, i was so happy! Now I'm 25 so I know I'm not as young as some of the others in here but I'd pick show #2 anyday. To call #1 a country concert makes me gag a little.

definatly the first one. i love kellie pickler and i have seen taylor swift and brad paisley in concert together.
Can we move George Jones to the first concert? LOL. I've heard of the 2 artists grouped with the Possum, but have no idea what they sing. I'd go with the first choice just because I'm more familiar with all the artists. It's no fun going to a concert when you can't sing along.
