Is Lupe Fiasco going to revive Hip Hop?!
Question: Soo... I think Lupe is has some of the best lyrics and flow out there. I've heard "Superstar" and "The Coolest" off his new album coming out DEC 18 (go and get it) and i think this album should go platinum. He doesnt just talk about sex, drugs and money. His album "The Cool" has a powerful meaning if you are willing to listen. There was a leak on MTV leaking all of his work i accidently heard "Fighters" (WOW) but wont listen to any of the others till i go and get the albm. Lupe Fiasco is Definitely the best new MC out right now...i do think this album is gonna sell more than food & liquor ..but reviving hip hop hmm...he is hip hop...and his stuff is hot...it's not that it's dead it's just not being marketed well....and i'm like his number 1 fan but he is just too modest..people love cockyness and swagger..the 2 things that make lil ' wayne popular...cause it's obviously not his lyrical ability...if lyrics sold truth be told lupe would probably be as rich and famous as Jay-Z..same goes for talib...lol..but i do recommend everybody buy that Album DEC 18th ..i heard the whole album 19 tracks of pure hip hop ...go on youtube right nor or mtv leak and listen to Little Weapon...this guy is a genius...

Lupe is talented and I feel he's one out of many who is speaking up about rappers who make stupid songs and try to act like being dumb is cool, when it's really not...I respect him for that
ok now lupe fiasco is the FRESH rapper! he doesnt have any of the lyrics that all these other rappers have such as drugs, sexy , money, and cars ya dig! he talks about the real stuff! real life things, things like baby mama drama, you know things that happen every day in the world! that a real top notch rapper for ya. so yeah i think that he is reviving hip hop!
Lupe Fiasco is beast but he is not gonna revive hip-hop mainly because it isn't dead Rap is dieing.
The Cool is a hot album(im still going to buy it but i couldnt wait) but he doesnt have any hit records to really put him over the top. Jay Z still aint plat after 5 weeks, that shows how hard of a feat that is
