try not to be out in the cold too much..alot of hot chocolate..try doing this:
do re mi fa so la ti do
la la la la la la la

it may sound weird but it does work
hope i helped ?

exercise your lungs and your pitch

have something hot like cocoa or coffee. idk... and then just practice singing as best as possible idk.

try to make it the best that it can be, they'll love it anyway

You can have a great voice by screaming loudly, then it will be hoarse and manly and sexy all in one.

The best thing you can do is practice, practice, practice.

I would think singing talent would usually come naturally if your born with it but I guess you could take singing lessons if your not a great singer

lip sync

well avoid puting your hands in your mouth.always be well dressed when you go outside.dont practice to much or you will lose your voice.

record yourself and learn what to try to improve on for starters.

Try out for American Idol, lol jk, sorry couldn't resist making that horrible joke. Anyways, to be real now, I think you should get singing lessons from a good singer if you know any around. There are people that do it as a job to help people sing and get a good voice, but it costs money. Look it up in the yellow pages of the phone book, you should find it there.

Here try these out ^_^ Good luck.

to get better, practice. record yourself singing then listen back. listen to what you do wrong and find ways to improve. I have had to basically be my own voice teacher for the past almost year now. I have improved a lot and you can too. just practice

Excercise ur lungs...
Take care of ur voice...
Drink lot's of water...
Get a tip from singers on
how to have a great voice...

I'm no singer so try asking them...

Drink lots of Water, dont drink soda, and eat lots of honey! Did you know before go on stage most singers eat a spoon full of honey..at least thats what i was told. Excirsise your voice, and dont push yourself.

a great voice isn't going to happen in a week, so let's setlle for getting the cats back outside, shall we?
first things first. Learn your song, memorize it so that you can sing the song while you dream. that helps with 90% of stage fright- being well prepared.
second- don't try and "make" your sound. You have your own sound, built-in, and that's the easiest one to work with. Learn to take deep breaths so that you feel you have a swim ring around your middle ( like little kids use when they first go swimming). This is what many people call diaphragmatic breathing, or abdominal breathing. It's just your belly, flanks and back all around your waist that are going to move. No upper body, no shoulders, no swaying.
That gives you support for a nice full sound. It also gives you the chance to open up your throat and not over-use the muscles there.
Okay, with all that nice breath in there, give a big TGIF sigh. You'll feel the air and energy rushing out through your throat, but there's no strength involved, is there? that' how it should feel while singing- the air moves through, the energy and vitailty are there, but there's no power to it, just sound.
You may have the aural impression that you sound thin and weak. This is where a recording device comes in handy, but please use something better than your cell phone to record with ( a cell phone is geared for only a fraction of the harmonics in the human voice, and does not give an accurate account of all the voice) A tape cassette recordeer will do just fine, even better if you have an external mike.
The sound you hear from the machine is what the world hears. This is the sound you want to improve on. ( the sound in your head while you sing is heard by you alone in this whole world) so you may find that this thin-seeming, light-as-a--sigh voice is actually quite pleasant.
By keeping your throat easy and open, you give your own built-in sound a chance to take on resonance and beauty.
Last thing to coordinate into the picture: do you know where and what your soft palate is? The spongy bit on the roof of your mouth at the back. When you yawn, you can feel it elevate. Go ahead, yawn! Now that that's out of the way, try raising it without yawning. Easy, huh?
If you can keep some of that lift going while you sing, you will have sent the cats outside. This helps us keep the sound from going nasal.
So: deep breathing, easy open throat, slight lift to the soft palate, and a well-prepared text should be enough to keep you busy this week.
Dress warmly, don't let your head get too cold ( we lose most of our body heat from the head, hands and feet), drink plenty of tea or warm drinks. ( if you have milk allergies, stay away from the stuff before singing) If you encounter lots of people who are ill or even sniffly this week, take the time to wash your hands a couple of extra times. It's more efficient at eliminating germs and kinder to the skin of your hands than all that hand-purifier stuff.
If you are indoors most of the time, take a 20 min break for some fresh air every day. burnt-out, stale, over heated air is not nice for singers.
Have a good sing. your family and friends will love it
