Haha what a funny question. There are so many songs that I've done that with. One off the top of my head was Kansas' song "Wayward Son". I used to think they said "carry on my way whats up." It didn't make any sense to me...

the ad for maxell tapes was hilarious. desmond dekker song the israelites. sung as me ears are alight. the ad was from the 80s maybe

Enya's "Sail away" - "save the whale"
UB40's "one in ten" - "i have a one inch head"
Paul Young's "Everytime you go away" - "You take a piece of meat with you" (he was a butcher you know?!)
and Madonna's "La Isla Bonita" - "young girl with eye's like potatoes"

sometimes the wrong lyrics are so much better....

lol THE CHICKMUNK SONG(FROM THE MOVIE ALVIN AND THE CHICKMUNKS) I THOUGHT THE LITTLE CHICKMUNKS WERE SAYIN YAHOOO YAHOOO THEY WERE REALLY SAYING HULA HU LOL

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds-Beatles
"a girl with cholitis goes by.." lol
(actual lyrics-a girl with kelydescope eyes)

For about three weeks after White Lion hit the charts with "Wait", I thought they were singing "Wayne".

They're called 'mondegreens' and it happens all the time. In Manfred Mann's cover of "Blinded by the Light", the line "revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night" is often misinterpreted "wrapped up like a douche."

Another example is from the Beatles' song "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds." The line "the girl with kaleidoscope eyes" is often misheard as "the girl with colitis goes by."

Eddie Vedder's lyrics are often easily misheard.

Jeremy - "Jeremy smokin'...grass today" s/b "Jeremy spoke in class today"
Glorified G - "Glorified virgin on a pelican" s/b "Glorified version of a pelletgun"
Blood - "Kisssssss my butttttttttttt" s/b "Ittttttttt's my bloooooooood"

Crazy Train by Ozzy

Mental wounds still screaming sounded like he was saying Animals still screaming when i listened to it!

Black Sabbath-Paranoid- I tell you to end your life I wish I could but its to late. Really it is I tell you to enjoy life I wish I could but its too late.

When I was in third grade (I THINK in like '79) my uncle got his drivers license and a new 4 speed 350 Camaro. He used to come pick me up from school, then we'd go to the park with his friends so they could smoke a "cigarette" and they'd play this 8 track they called "skinnerd". There was a really LONG song on that 8 track called "Agnes Bird". Poor "Agnes Bird, you cannot chayeeyange"!!!

Just about every Rolling Stones song is like that.

"The Ants are my friends, they're blowin' in the wind"

My American Heart-The Shake(Awful Feeling)
It says:
""I'll throw my thoughts into the sea"

I was singing
"Although my heart's in Tennessee"

I don't know where I got that from!

Here are a few more...

The Beatles - Paperback Writer

"Pay for that Chrysler... "

Stevie Winwood - Higher Love

"Bring me a fire log... "

All-American Rejects - Move Along

"Mow the lawn, mow the lawn... "

In A Broken Dream ~ Thunder

I thought the middle line was
"Decide my darling, decide where you must be. You people all you made with romantic love"

Then I heard the original by Python Lee Jackson, and found out it was actually
"Did someone bow ttheir head? Did someone break the bread? Good people are in bed before nine o' clock"

At one point I thought the chorus to 'Rain' by The Cult was
"I love Lorraine" instead of "I love the rain"
