I do know that she and her parents traveled to California in the 50's and Tommy Collins went with them and they came back to Oklahoma and he stayed in California. He and Wanda Jackson dated for awhile. She is a very nice lady and several years ago she sent me some pictures that were taken of her and Tommy in California in the 50's. She was one heck of a rockabilly singer too in the early years.

I sure do...well i do know that she's an"OKIE" from some where in oklahoma, she was playing a few instuments at an early age and had her own radio show in her early teens, the only song i own by her is one of her biggest hits, right or wrong.
I can tell you that she should be better known. She, Janis Martin, and other female rock-a-billies have never received the recognition they deserve. Let's Have A Party and Fujiyama Mama rock as hard as any Gene Vincent, Carl Perkins, Elvis, Jerry Lee, etc.
I can also tell you that she is a sweet classy lady. I was fortunate enough to buy her a drink (soda) and talk with her for a few minutes when she toured with Rosie Flores years ago. She was flattered that I (and many others) were such big fans and knew all her tunes.
Oh, and she was discovered by the late Hank Thompson.
