What sounds better a trombone or a baritone?!

Question: It depends what you mean by 'better'. This can only be a subjective opinion. It's much better to listen for yourself and make your own judgement rather than receive and adopt the views of others. You do not say what prompts your question.

The trombone and baritone are variants of the same idea. Each are at the same pitch and have advantages and disadvantages one over the other. The trombone is a more flexible instrument, being far more widely used than the baritone, which is usually only found in brass bands (beware the words 'baritone' or 'bariton' in other languages - these can be different instruments).

It really should depend on what YOU think.

there kind of the same but i like the trombone

baritone

baritone . theres a boy in 7th grade who makes the baritone sound so pretty.

If you are talking straight sound it depends on the player, both instruments sounds very similar. With a slide trombone you can add addition interesting sounds by sliding into or out of a note. Also you have bass trombones that have a key on them that adds a demension that can't be reproduced on a baritone.

It's a matter of taste I feel. But if one plans on becoming a professional brass player, they are much better off with the trombone. Baritones are seldom scored for anything other than High School band music.

I don't think either sound very good unaccompanied, but either can sound very pretty in unason with other insturments. I say the trombone sounds a bit better but I like them both.
