Ether by a mile, no disrespect to Jay but he sounded like he was rapping while sitting in his big cushy leather chair in some penthouse office, Nas sounded like he was ready to murder someone. There is so much emotion in Ether, every other bar I'm wincing like "damn Nas, thats NASTY." Also Jay addresses Mobb Deep in the Takeover, Ether was completely directed towards Jigga. Plus you can't talk about how much money you have in a real battle, "You lil' F*** i got money stacks bigger than you"

Nas, definitely. Jay came pretty hard with Takeover... but it did more damage to Prodigy than it did to Nas.
I was a huge Jay fan till Ether dropped, and after that I just couldn't listen to that ***** in the same way anymore. Nas destroyed him, no questions

I say Takeover. Only one verse was directed to Nas and that one verse was so good, you decided to make a whole question about who do you think won.
Jay Z was toying with Nas. He put sound effects in the verse and was even laughing at him. Nas put out a whole song that was great but could not match the sickness all the way. You cant go wrong with either song you pick though.
