Soulful Wedding Music?!

Question: I have looked under other individual’s questions and answers for the same topic, but most were targeted towards Caucasians (no offense). I'm looking for a mix of "soul" music that can really touch and send reminiscent memories to all age groups who will be attending my wedding (from 18 – 70 years of age). For example The Spinners “Could I Be Falling in Love, to Marvin Gaye “I Want You”, to Mary J. Blige “Just Fine” (that song is on fire). So if anyone could please help me with a variety of “GOOD” songs, will be very helpful as well as appreciated. Many thanks!

***also excepting urban jazz and non vulgar hip hop....stuff that you can dance to w/out cursing.

Then on to R & B: Al Green greatest hits; Confunction greatest hits. Luther Vandross many.... Chilites greatest; Alexander Oneal "Hearsay"; John Legend "Once again"; Aretha franklin greatest hits; Anthony Hamilton "Soul life";
Ginuwine "Back II Basics"; "Glenn Lewis "World outside my window"; Manhattans greatest hits; Ojays greatest hits; Frankie Beverly and Maze greatest hits; Delfonics greatest; Earth Wind & Fire greatest; Steavie Wonder greatest; look for combos for 1970 - 1980 with multiple artist that you like to hear. Have a beautiful and musical time... Be blessed!

some good dance songs would be: cupid shuffle, cha cha slide, step in the name of love
wedding songs: spend my life with you - eric benet and tamia, slow jam -monica and usher, joy- blackstreet, ready or not- after 7,

Let's get married by Jagged Edge

Wicked7 gave you a very good list of all the songs you will need to have a great time at your reception, all you have to do is add a few songs like Candy by Cameo so that everyone can do the bus stop, the cha-cha slide so everyone can right foot step etc., and the Step in the Name of Love by R. Kelly. Remember theses types of songs will keep people on the floor dancing. You will never have a dull moment.

As far as "old school"....don't forget Maze feat. Frankie Beverly
