If you could go back in time to any concert/musical event in time what would it !

Question: I would love to hear Beethoven or Mozart play some of their own compositions, or maybe join John Lennon during his "Bed-In for Peace" or best yet, convince Gerard Way's mom to have an abortion! (jk, emo kids, don't cry)

VAN HALEN WITH ROTH, back in the day

john lennon bed in

Nirvana Unplugged Live in New York. Definitely. I know I could pick someone more influential (aka older) but ever since I was like 13 I wanted to see that concert. And I couldn't think of any older ones. Maybe Paul Simon Graceland Live in Central Park.

Easy - Woodstock..I was 2 at the time, but that would have been one heck of a road trip!

I would go back to 1981 and go see Ozzy's Blizzard of Ozz tour with Randy

For Me, it would be Woodstock, the Original 1969.

I would have liked to hitchhike up to Bethel, NY and spent the 3 days there. Not knowing or caring where I would be after the concert. Maybe drift out to California.

Oh well, those days are over.

though I truly love classical, I would go back to the seventies when George Clinton landed the mothership for the 1st time. I think it would be a more emotional high for me.

LMAO, convince Gerards mom to have an abortion, thats both very funny and horrible....anyways i would want to see Metallica before they started to suck... the Beatles...and the smashing pumpkins when James Iha and D'arcy were still in the band.

Elvis at the International Hotel Las Vegas , August 23rd 1969 , midnight show.

Just before his "fat days"

A kiss concert or Nirvana Unplugged. I love watching Nirvana play Were did you sleep last night unplugged

Alice in Chains...I only got into them this year...I'd want to go back in time to hear Layne Staley sing and stuff.

I would like to see Tommy Dorsey when Frank Sinatra was at vocals.
I would also like to see Misfits with Danzig at vocals and Operation Ivy. The last two are still possible, so I'm crossing my fingers.

On August 17th 1965, the Beatles were scheduled to play one show at Toronto's Maple Leaf Gardens. Harold Ballard (owner of the Gardens) sold tickets to two shows and told Beatles manager Brian Epstein the band would have to play twice. Epstein was furious, but agreed. The Beatles performed on one of the hottest days of summer, so Ballard ordered the start of each show delayed, the thermostats turned up, the water fountains turned off, and the concession stands to only sell large drinks (a fortune was made on drink sales.)
Old Harold was a con man, and a thief! But thanks to him I got to see The Beatles twice in one day!
I wish I could re-live that day!

Oh, I'm sure I'll receive a torrential downpour of thumbs but my answer remains the same as it was previously. This was a tragic error of judgment on my part to miss this lineup. Guess I'll have to wait for that time machine now.

Lollapalooza 1992

Red Hot Chili Peppers
Ministry
Lush
Jesus & Mary Chain
Soundgarden
Seaweed
Porno For Pyros
Stone Temple Pilots

WOODSTOCK!!!
any beatles concert.

Probably, the Phantom of the Opera original.
That would be very interesting.

aj

WOODSTOCK !!!!!any DAVID BOWIE Concert!!

Woodstock ~ 1969
Isle of Wight ~ 1970
Led Zeppelin ~ June 1972

Blackmore's Night ~ Germany 2002 & Paris 2006
{they played part of the UK in June, and I missed them!}

WOODSTOCK BABY!!!! woot! it would have been soo awesome!!!

I'd want to see the Beatles in concert or go to Woodstock or the Monterey Pop Festival.

woodstock, the 1969 one.

Woodstock '69
Isle of White '70
Doors in Fla. '69
Knebworth '79

I'm reminded of an old thought. I'd love to see Liszt play piano.

Concert? Led Zeppelin, LA Forum, June 23 1977. Keith Moon sat in and had a drum duel with John Bonham during "Moby D-ck", as well as the "Whole Lotta Love" and "Rock And Roll" encores. You can't get any better than that: rock's two greatest drummers going at it. Even without Moonie, this is considered one of Zeppelin's best shows, and it is, the band was just on f-cking fire that night. I've got the bootleg, and you can't hear it without wishing you were there.

I wish I could pick just one; but I'm sure I'll be regretting my answer, when the Time Machine comes around again. Though seeing Mozart or Beethoven, or even SRV playing that magic guitar (again) would truly be out of this world. Meanwhile, enjoy:
