Eluveitie is a celtic influenced folk metal band from switzerland. Look into the genres of folk metal and viking metal you'll find what your looking for. you can use the terms extreme or brutal but never hardcore...

Finntroll, Moonsorrow, Cruachan, Ensiferum, Melechesh, Mezarkabul ,Waylander, Skyforger, Elvenking, Korpiklaani, Eluveitie, Rhapsody/Rhapsody of Fire, Blind Guardian, Freedom Call, Angra, Kamelot, Nightwish.. They all throw in some celtic stuff into their songs, not all of their songs, but they do some celetic stuff, bands like Eluveitie, Elvenking and Korpiklaani I recommend, full time celtic/folk metal bands...
