There are many place to get Sax's, it depends too on Alto or Tenor. Most local music stores have sax's too. If your looking for cheaper one check the pawn shop. I bought mine from a pawn shop and I can easily sell it for more than i paid. It is a wonderful sax and have been using it for 8 years now(it is a Bundy II made by Selmer)Most pawn shops don't know the real value of musical instruments.

For new Sax's can be bought directly from the company. You are going to pay a much higher price for them too.

As to a location to buy one, ask a local High school Director or Middle school director. They know of all the business in your area and will be glad to help since your looking to start a music career.

The best thing for a beginner is to rent first. Most music stores have a rental program, and most of those have a rent-to-own program that way if you decide you would like to continue playing, you can buy the saxophone you are using. They are quality instruments, and great for students. Also they usually come with a repair clause that has the store pay or all repairs (as they do it themselves) that you WILL need.
