Giovanni Dominico Scafone, aka Jack Scott. Man I haven't heard that song for a long long time! I didn't know anyone even remembered it! I had the 45 when I was a kid. Flip side was "Baby, Baby."
I'm not sure I've even got the right song, 'cause I aint never heard it. But I came across a version by Tom Jones and one by Eddy Arnold.
