Electronic drum set?!

Question: i could play both ways but i like playing bass with my left foot and doing the hi-hat with my right hand and foot. electronic drum sets usually show the other way (if you play drums you know what im talking about). is it possible for the drum parts to be switched around?

I know you can with the Yamaha DTXplorer & probably can with others. You can position just about anything differently, and basically to do what you want, you'd just switch the cable for the hi-hat trigger with the cable for the floor tom trigger (both pads are the same), and then reposition the height of the arms holding those pads (raise the old floor tom arm & lower the old hi-hat arm). I assume you'd put the floor tom on the left side where the hi-hat was?

i think you can put it however you want.

Since you're left-footed on the drum kit. Switch the kick drum and Hi-hat stand around backwards. Those Roland or Yamaha kits are re-arrangable to move around a lot. I don't know about programming electronic drum kits. I just know a lot about acoustic drum kits, that's all.
