I have a concert on Monday, and a horrible cold!?!
Question: I've had it since Tuesday (my audition for Alice in...), how can I get rid of it by then? There's a really high note in one of the songs that only a couple can nail, and I NEED to hit it. I have an extremely clogged nose, and I'm very congested.

I do a lot of singing.... and when I get a cold one of the things I do is drink hot tea with lemon and honey in it... It needs to be real lemons you get in the store... I drink a quarter of a lemon in one cup of tea and sweeten to taste. It's wonderful if you have a sore throat too... feels good on the throat.

Believe me missing the concert would be a good choice.
As your breathing out deeply you would be spreading germs to everyone.
No big deal. Sometimes things happen like that for a reason.

Get vitamin C's and do 2000 grams a day. It WON'T hurt you to even do double.. the body will take all it needs and harmlessly loose the overflow. Down this with TONS of orange juice! At night, rub down with vapor rub, get a wet wash cloth and pin it under a WOOL sock, wrap this around your neck at night... Also.. put Vick's vapor rub on the bottom of your feet and cover them with socks at night.
It all sounds silly... but those steps honestly seems to CURE a cold over night! It won't hurt to try... !
