BTW- here's two GREAT classic rock drummers that nobody knows about- Barry Brandt from Angel, and Cesar Zuiderwijk from Golden Earring.
YO--- who's the troll with the big downthumb tonight?? May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your pubic landscape!!
I totally agree with you....Slip Knot kicks *** and Joey is an outstanding drummer..one of my favs that brings back some good memories is when Tommy Lee pulled this one off when I saw him in Dallas back in the day...I admire anyone who can play drums while upside down and well check the video:

I've played drums over 20 years and would love to do this just once....

Slipknot and Joey Jordison are a joke
I'd like to see Him try to play the drum part from "Achilles Last Stand" He'd break His neck trying.
*Edit*
Tommy Lee is overrated as heck, playing the drums upside down...big whoop. Flash in the pan parlor trick
To do what John Bonham & Neal Peart does takes skill not gimmicks and tricks.
Thumbs down Me all You want, desn't change the fact I'm right.
Flashy tricks are fine for impressing a stadium full of teenagers drunk on beer. but I think I'll stick to somebody who actually knows how to play
Bring on 1,000 thumbs down
*Edit 2*
phatwave is 100% correct about Terry Bozzio
Moby Dick - John Bohnam
Head, Hands and Feet by Frank Zappa's Terry Bozzio.
Gimmicks are just for show and don't prove on how good a drummer really is.
Bran Dailor from Mastodon did an awesome drum solo on the Blood Mountain album's DVD
YYZ, Red Barchetta - Rush
Godzilla - Blue Oyster Cult (If you can listen to a live version)
Moby Dick, Four Sticks - Led Zepplin
I can't think of any more right now but I know there's some more out there.
I love John from System of a Down drum solos (I forgot his last name)
neil peart from rush
his solos are called der trommler and o baterista
awsome
Mike Portinoy - Dream Theater.. -swoons-
Neil Peart
John Bonham
Ian Paice
