Which artists when they came out, do you think had no clue they would be as big !

Question: I was watching the Dead Presidents video watching the young Jay Z play Monopoly with his mentor, Notorious B.I.G. and I was like, "Woah. If he only knew a decade later he would sell out concerts in seconds wit thousands of ppl holding diamonds in the air with them yell G.O.A.T. while B.I.G. looked down from the skies.

The same with Ti. When I first heard him on Bone Crusher's "Never Scared" and on "24's", I never thought he would become a platinum artist.

Lastly, Ludacris. When I first heard him rapping about him licking girls from head to toes, I thought if he did make it, he would be the next Ying Yang Twin. Since, he has become a Grammy winner for his recent cd and had everyone wanting to rewrite their verse on the Im So Hood remix.

By the way, that was not even fair for him to do Luda like that. Dag lol.

Lil Wayne and T.I. by far... I was just like you on T.I., I remember seein him on never scared, thinkin "this is a scrawny lil' n*gga" and goin on about my business. Then I seen 24's, and *STILL* nothin stood out to me about him, and now in 2007 he one of the top sellin artists... the thing about his fame is, he gotta give all the credit to Lil Flip, cuz if it weren't for that beef and the "king of the south" title, I think he'd be just another average southern rapper.

I *NEVER* expected Wayne to get as big as he is.. just go back and look at "Number 1 Stunna" or "Project Chick"... he f*ckin sucks. but just like T.I. he did the whole "Best Rapper Alive" thing and here he is. All over magazine covers and remixes... so kids, the moral of the story is, if you wanna be a big rapper, then find a title for yourself... Title=success

Luda has always been sick.

Ur dumb.

TI...eh who cares really?

It proves the public is fickle and likes the next hot thing...

Remember when Bone Crusher was that dude?

And Jay....well....

It shows if u stab everyone in the back and step on friends in order to get to the top....

You to can have the hottest chick in the game wearing ur chain....

CREAM
dolla dolla bill ya'll

I gotta say Lupe to be honest...

I remember when I saw his video for the first time on MTV for "Kick, Push" and I thought to myself, 'damn, another bubblegum guy?' I hated that song. A few months later, my group and I were talking about Kanye, and a friend said that Lupe was ten times better than Kanye. I didnt believe it, but out of curiosity, I picked up Lupe's album, and it blew me away. Long story short, Im anticipating Lupe's new one more than Wu-Tang's new one.

Same thing with Lil' Wayne. Even though he's far from being my favorite, I remember the first time I heard him like 6 years ago. I think even he had no idea that there would be a bunch of people calling him the GOAT just a few years later. He's not, btw.

OutKast. I heard the Player's Anthem, and Im like these dudes cool. Then they switched to Aliens, and Dre switched to Badu

It probably seems like a cliche to say Lil' Wayne but, yes, Lil' Wayne.

Hot Boyz - Shine
Juvenile - Back That *** Up

He just seemed like another rapper that would come and go. He came out with Lights Out, the Block is Hot, and a bunch of other stuff with the Hot Boyz and no one knew about him until the Carter II.
