Which is cheaper: acoustic or electric drums?!
Question: That is hard to answer since there are cheap and expensive models of both. The difference is that you can make a cheap set of acoustic drums sounds pretty darn good with the right heads and proper tuning, but a cheap set of electronic drums will sound like crap no matter what. I paid $3500 for my ddrum brain only and you really need something in that price range to get a "real" drum sound.
