What do you think of the new Journey lead singer? Philipino Arnel Pineda, he'!
Question: as Steve Perry, he's 40 years old, and looks 25. This guy is a powerhouse vocalist, a virtuoso really. He will breathe new life into Journey, what do you think?

He is amazing
Well....in my opinion there will never be anyone who can match Steve Perry's vocal stylings and looks but this guy does come close. Steve Augeri was a better replacement.
I think that Journey has 95% sucked since they first sold out to saccharine in 1979. And 100% sucked since 1983.
Journey was a great band in the mid 70's
But it doesn't matter who their singer is now, as horrible dreck as their music is now Micheal Bolton should be their vocalist.
Another example of how the world has become such a smaller place.
Pineda may not possess the natural flight of a bird that Perry had but who does? I hope he's (Pineda) prepared to handle the scrutiny cuz there's no doubt he's gonna get it.

OMG, I didn't even know Steve Augeri was gone. I saw them on their 2005 tour and never thought I was going to get use to them with someone else beside Steve Perry but...all in all I thought S.A. was very good. I just listened to Arnel Pineda and thought he was awesome. Unfortunately I think Neal pulls the strings with Journey and has to tight of a grip. At that concert I went to it was as if he wanted to run the whole stage. Kind of a turn off for me. I just hope things work out for Arnel. I would love to see Journey have a great comeback.
Steve Perry had a one of a kind voice! AWESOME!!! Don't really care for the new guy, and no, he doesn't sound just as good as Steve Perry.
