Piano music composition?!
Question: im trying to write a song on the piano. but due to my lack of being able to draw straight lines by any means. i need a computer program. i dont want anything illegal or something im going to have to pay $50 for lol. anywhere i can get this? i would prefer it free since im only 14 =P

Click on the link below to download Finale Notepad. It is scaled down version of the Finale composition software used by many publishers and composers. It is very good and should be just what you need, plus it is FREE!

I am 15, and I aspire to be a composer someday. In fact, I've been working on a piano piece too! I use something called anvil studios. It isn't very good; it plays wrong a lot of the time, but it's something, and it's the only free software I could find. It's a demo of the full version.
If you're really serious you could spend a few hundred dollars on Sibelius. I hope to own it someday. It's incredibly easy to use.
You could just buy a sheet of music staffs and write the notes in by hand ; this would cost about five dollars.
BearCat beat me to the punch, Finale is free and easy to use. Sibelius is far better but the program will cost you atleast $300. Soooo....Get Finale
