Who else is sad that the lead singer of quiet riot Kevin Dubrow is dead?!

Question: Does anyone even care that he's dead? And if so what do you remember most about him?

Answers: Does anyone even care that he's dead? And if so what do you remember most about him?

Kevin DuBrow was one of my dearest friends. I partied with him countless times in the past 2 years of his music career. I am severely saddened by his death. He was the creator if you will, of everything that is now hair metal. Quiet Riot's "Metal Health" was one of the first metal albums that was given for me to listen to by my older brothers, who were bad @ss metal heads enjoying their "80's Trip".

I mean come on man......Metal Health (Bang Your Head), C'mon Feel The Noize, Moma We're All Crazy Now, Slick Black Cadillac.......All those were fantastic and rockin tunes.

The last time i spoke to Kevin was September 2, 2007 of this year. He and Quiet Riot were playing the WoodStock Fair here in Connecticut, and he saw me at the fair and had asked to have me join him backstage after the show. The whole time he was watching me scream every single word to every single song they played, because he knew i was one of the Die Hard Fans. By The Way.......Quiet Riot's newest album "Rehab" is so great...Definately worth the money to buy it.

I Feel horrible for Frankie Banali. He must be still in shock and sadness. In MY heart Quiet Riot's music (If they ever do quit, and die off) WILL NEVER die for me. Kevin DuBrow was one of, if not THE greatest rock/metal frontmen to ever take a stage.

ALL YOU METAL FANS AND QUIET RIOT FANS BANG YOUR MOTHER F*CKING HEADS IN HONOR OF THIS GREAT MUSICIAN

I didn't even know that happened. I wasn't a big fan of him back at the 80's. But it sure is very sad to hear that. I mostly remember his funny clothes, but he wasn't the only one dressed like that those days.R.I.P Kevin

He is dead but not forgotten, i remember hearing Quiet Riot's early stuff on LA radio, he had the biggest voice that just gave him such a big presence. I am sad that he is gone, I think that all musicians should get a reprive on death because they have changed so many peoples lives for the better

Sad indeed. That band got alot of us through the 80's...no doubt.I'm willing to say they were the metal band that broke through into mainstream stardom!! What a jam session up there in heaven...Kevin Dubrow is once again with Randy Rhoades...what a great song "Thunderbird" was ,and still is...it was written for Randy...I like to think their up there jammin right now!!
What I remember most? Just the LOUD in your face voice, which is what I love...yeah the crazy costumes(in the 80's who didn't)..you had 3 choices "Miami Vice" look...the "Flock Of Seagulls" look...and the heavy metal look..Kevin not only had the look, but the pipes to back it up...end of an era no doubt....(raises devil horn salute!!) This is the first I've heard of this ...what happened?

Yeah, that news hit me hard. His voice was unmistakable, and he was with one of the few 80's bands worth listening to. He will definitely be missed.

i seen quiot riot in canton ohio 2years ago. they came with firehouse,cinderella,ratt-(without steven piercy)..i must say, although i love ratt-it just wasnt ratt without steven piercy!!! i love cinderella-yes they were AWESOME..Kevin Dubrow made the show-what a front man, non stop action..rest in piece kevin-YOU ROCKED..

I'll miss him.
