The original version was made by a group of artists under the title Band Aid, and 20 years later, another group of pop artists made it again, then under the name of Band Aid 20. It should be still available as a single!
Other than the one done in the mid-80's (featuring Boy George, Wham, Paul McCartney, etc) I am not aware of any new version of the song.
Personally, I like it the way it is. I think they would ruin it if they did.
