Can you get a credit on a album from selling a beat with poor man copyrights?!

Question: 1) You don't need a copyright to get credit on an album.
2) Poor Man's Copyright is a myth, it doesn't have any value in court. Get the real copyright, it's only $35.
3) Even though you don't need a copyright to sell a beat, it still protects you from infringment.

probably not but who cares use it anyway

put a tag into your beat (ie. have a vocal that says ____ productions put into the beat [kinda like the young joc songs you always hear "this a nitty beat"[). And if you sold the beat, you can at least ask the person who bought it to give you credit on the CD cover.

Poor mans copyright dont even hold up in court. There are too may ways to twist and scam it. Just be happy if you dont get screwed with that stuff.
