What inspires you to hip hop ?!
Question: what inspires your to MC,Graff,Break,or make beats ?

Beats - My older brother who passed away in september of 2006 inspires me to make beats...he use to make beats since he was 5 and he died when he was 18, i just started after he passed away to carry on tradition..we shared rooms in a 2 bedroom apartment, and when ever i use to see him make beats it would amaze me how he would make his sounds so soulful..he was the quite music dude , while i would be outside chasing girls and dancing..when ever i hear his beats it makes my eyes water up because how mellow and soulful they are, they remind me so much of him.

bc the music is the only thing that lasts ya know....so its best to make it timeless...

I AM HIP-HOP
the music and culture inspires me. i love the music that it makes me want to try contributing what i believe will improve and make hip-hop better. Hip-hop has influenced not just the way i dress and speak but also the outlook i have in life. Because of the music and culture it has exposed me to and the inspiration, revelations and lessons i get, I reciprocate by staying true to what i believe is REAL hip-hop.
so simply put, hip-hop inspires me to hip-hop :)
Jus my love for the culture...its in me, I grew up with it...The graf art is just in my hands and imagination...Ive always loved to draw when I was a kid...I would get excited when the trains with a new piece would pass by or the school handball court would have a fresh all out piece on it in the morning...I wish I had pics of those times...Beats was something I always wanted to figure out as a youth...I prayed to learn one day...And it came when I married a producer...lol He taught me how to work the Emu Sp 1200 with the Akai 950. Taught me how to chop beats and dig for records...That was an adventure...lol I still make beats in my spare time as a hobbie on my MPC...but thats what inspired me to hip hop.
You could say my brother inspired me...I used to always watch him DJ on his set(not pro DJ decks but some old 80's sony turntables.), but he stopped doing that in 1993..and I started DJing in 2000(with money & time). Ever since then... I have not been able to stop making remixes & re-re-remixes! It's like you can do ANYTHING with music if you just put your mind to it.
Music is like Mathematics.......it's Endless..... :-D
