What do you think of the BOSS BCB-30 Pedal Board?!

Question: the small one for 40 bucks
I have 3 boss pedals and want to purchase this so I dont need tons of wires all over (I can neatly daisy chain them together).

is this peal board made out of cheap plastic that will slip on my bedroom floor (hardwood)

I think you'd outgrow it too quickly... and it doesn't even come with a power supply for the pedals. I'd just keep them on the floor until you're pretty sure you don't have the urge to buy a few more. You could still daisy-chain them and keep things pretty neat.

I would have recommended a multi-effects unit for just starting out, but you've already purchased a few pedals... I just bought a Digitech GNX3 on clearance for $250.00 and it has all the effects you'd ever need. High quality too. The digital distortions aren't as good as what you can get from an analog stomp box, but they aren't bad either... Nice to have such a wide range of effects to play with and see what you like. Even has a built in multi-track recorder / looper with a crummy drum machine. I've been having a lot of fun recording multi-track songs with it. http://www.digitech.com/soundcomm/guitar...

You can't beat stomp boxes for sound quality, simplicity and reliability though...
