Why did magazines like The Rolling Stones hate Queen's music?!
Question: Every Rolling stones reviews on Queen's albums are always negative, they say things like they are rock wannabes and cant play guitar.
Queen is my favorite band and I don't understand haw this magazine always seems to give them poor reviews.

You can't go by anything Rolling Stone tells you. That magazine can be better put to use as a puppy training mat. Seriously, this is the same magazine that fired a reporter that refused to write a positive album review for Hootie & The Blowfish. Also, once RS hates you, they never change their mind.
I dont know. I really like Queen too. Maybe the writers were not into them, exept they were always good, so i dont know how they could get bad reviews.
Because before Queen started out they always made fun of the Rolling Stone magazine and it got out to the public.

here's a brief answer: if you wanted hard rock, there were many, many bands in the 70s that did that sort of thing better. if you fancied some art rock, the same held true. lastly, "Radio Ga Ga," anyone? Freddie Mercury may have had a good set of pipes, but that does not a great band make...

I tend to agree with Rolling Stone. They are pretentious and their songs, mostly the lyrics are boring and sometimes don't seem to make sense. I think bohemian rhapsody is a cult favorite that got popular because of Wayne's World. They overuse falsettos and their music/singing/lyrics lack depth. This may be why Rolling Stone isn't their biggest fan. However they are very accomplished at harmonizing.
I think that they should never be considered a "Rock" band and should be considered "Pop" all the way.
You are a fan, so you obviously like Queens music. You are entitled to like whatever music you choose, I am simply giving you reasons to why Rolling Stone might have a problem with them.
I have no clue why they would do that. I love Queen. They were one of the top bands.

That is one of the reasons I don't ever read those garbage magazines The persons (??) who write for them are some drop outs with absolute zero knowledge or feeling for art and music.
