I want to know if im a mezzo soprano or a soprano i want the hightest high notes!

Hello from a fellow opera singer! Even though you WANT to hit the high notes, sometimes your voice might not be able to hit the high notes. I can't. I'm a dramatic mezzo-soprano, one of the lowest opera singing voices out there! I want to hit the high notes, too, but no matter how hard I try, I can't do them for the life of me. My teachers say that if you can sing opera, be glad with what your voice can do. Most people cannot sing opera, and they would be highly jealous of your talent. When most people hear me, they get their kids to be quiet because they want to hear me sing. They know that there is a good singer coming up. Trying to hit high notes might abuse your voice. As a result, you might end up with "vocal nodules". (This is a callus on the vocal cords.) WHen you have those, you CANNOT sing until the nodules are better. I currently have them. You can't talk much either. Take it slow, and stay healthy! :)

Get a voice teacher. A lot of high notes can be reached if you have to correct technique. A lot of it has to do with exertion.
well it might have somethin 2 do with if u use your diaphram correctly or not.
but you might just cant hit thoes anymore. last year i couldnt hit thoes soprano notes to save my life. and now i can hit way beyond anyone in my class. the best thing to do is practice alone and see what you can do and just play around with your voice.....it worked for me....hope this help'd
