first you've got to go back to ole country,then it was country,western swing,then progressive country, an last is modern country,to me morden is more rock -a- billy,country is at best slow &smooth w/a reason behind,kinda like tellin a story,morden is fast&hard,some of it makes sence,some don't,u got a choice to choise

I'll just say one thing about modern country..If it doesn't have a fiddle or steel guitar, they ain't country. Their just a bunch of pretty boys running around stage with ripped up jeans that look like they been out working on a ranch all day long. When in fact half of them have never busted their @$$ once in their pathetic lives.
That was more than one thing wasn't it? Oh well.
I prefer the "old stuff". I like some of today's country, but I still prefer the old classic sounding country.
I like a lot of country stars:Tim Mcgraw, Toby Keith, Sugarland. Any of those. We listen to country ALL the ime and i know ever word to amot all country songs.
