How come the musical group "Metric" isn't way more popular??!

Question: I have been astonished by how fantastic this group is---It mystifies me that very few people have heard of them. Is this because they don't fit into any specific genre???

Yeah they're great. I got into them big last year. Maybe its because they care more about the music rather than the money. ALTHOUGH, in Europe they're moderately successful. Their video Monster Hospital was played on the music channels a lot 6 months ago, and i heard their new song playing on the radio last week

Also, they probably arent too popular because young girls cant relate to them because they're in their early 30's and not very attractive. Also the lyrics are too complicated for them
