8 Diagrams Good or Bad?!
Question: I haven't bought/downloaded the album yet, but I think it's gonna be bad. In a different question (link here http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... I said Ghost's album is gonna be better. Raekwon said RZA made questionable choices on the album. So I figured you know 40+ guys still rappin' bout Sword Slingin' ninjas and similarites to the hood is pretty lame. As much as I love their 90's albums, their stuff has been gettin' old recently. it totally sucks....the only good song is "take it back" and the only reason i like that is because the sampled Bob James "Nautilis"....im a break beat head, so thats the only reason i like it. it was a total dissappointment.
i hope its good....because i "hopefully" RZA knows what he's doing..... Ghost and Raekwon are just upset because RZA is trying to change their sound and they want it to stay the same.
but yea like i said, if rza knows what he's doing then it should be good. YOu say that their stuff's been getting old to u lately, well maybe now that they changed their style a lil bit (even if they wanted to or not) they might come out more fresh
its cool...i mean i enjoyed it...its not the old wu in beats but like rza said...grown up niggaz!!!
the rhymes is dope as hell.....
I havn't heard it, but word on the street it has the same wu grime but a new feel.

I gotaa give love to common that new joint southside is amazing.
I've heard the whole thing about six times.... it's a great album. I'd say this is > Iron Flag. The only thing i didn't like.... other than that a few of the beats were kind of weak.... was that ODB wasnt on it (except the one unreleased ODB track at the end)....
it really doesnt feel like a Wu album without him, i think that makes a big difference
I gave a few songs a listen...sounds solid...
these comments are troubling though:
