Should I get a new guitar or amp first?!
Question: Right now I have an Ibanez GSA60 and a practice amp. I want a Line 6 SpiderIII 30 watt. But I want to save money for an Explorer. I don't know!!!

Keep your guitar for now...go buy a good amp. I enjoy my Vox Valvetronix. It is a tube unit that has a built in effects board. Almost all effects (including all types of distortion) are built in and selectable. I believe it comes in a small 15 watt unit all the way up to a wall shaking 100watt.

Get a new amp because if you get a new guitar, it won't sound as good as it could be without a great amp. Get the amp because then maybe you can hear how great your current guitar is!

How good are you? We should get the equipment that we deserve, not what we want. The better a musician you become, the better the guitar you deserve. If you don't play in a band, what do you really need?
Guitar. You can start to learn how to play it (if you don't know already) even though it will sound kinda weird without the amp.
depends on the quality of each.... a half-decent guitar sounds like crap through a terrible amp, and vice-versa.... so which one will improve the sound the most? gotta weigh this one yourself, I think.... sorry Hope this helped...
It depends. A guitar is only as good as the person playing it. If you are going to play gigs get the amp first then get a good guitar (Strat).Good luck.
