CLASSIC COUNTRY mini ...who's the MOST SUCCESSFUL "DUO" in COUNTRY!

Question: Bellamy Brothers...

Although, I bet Brooks and Dunn will pass them up at some point.

Answers: Bellamy Brothers...

Although, I bet Brooks and Dunn will pass them up at some point.

Brooks and Dunn (just a guess)

on Edit....But do you consider them classic? I do.

Brooks & Dunn?

Brooks and Dunn. the CMA"s want to call the Duo of the year award the Brooks and Dunn award.

I'll say Conway and Loretta

i'm gonna say the bellamy's since we're talking classic.

The Judds were in my opinion. For the short time they were performing together they took every award available to them.

I was gonna say that tex.

The Bellamy would be my guess.

Although I really like the answer given by Tex. hahaha

Johnny and June Carter Cash, perhaps.

You sure don't make the choices easy but I will have to say The great George Jones and Tammy Wynette followed closely by Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn. great question that required thought.

i've read that the Bellamy Brothers are considered to be the most successful duo in history but the Guinness Book lists Brooks and Dunn as the most successful country duo. There may be a distinction between greatest duo and greatest country duo because the Bellamy Brothers also did Christian or gospel music too right?

Oh gosh, it would depend on who you ask, and that you did. I would have to say The Bellamys, "Let Your Love Flow" was played everywhere all the time. I hate to admit it but I suppose the D Chicks are todays choice, but they can't compete with the real talent of the Mandrel Sisters. I saw one of their first acts up close (60 ft.)on a tiny stage behind a small bar, within 6 weeks they were moved to the main stage because so many people came to see them from miles around that their fans were blocking the crap tables and slot machines. No sound effects, no colored smoke bombs, no fake fireworks, no amplified music,"JUST FANTASTIC TALENT", okey, I'll climb down from my soap box now, I've probably bored you all to death.

I'll also say George and Tammy.

Classic country would go to George and Tammy or Conway and Loretta.
Now it's gotta be Garth Brooks and Tricia Yearwood.

Brooks & Dunn have won more CMA awards as Duo of the year I quit counting them.
