Ahhhwww!! The great J Dilla! Man this guy was crazy talented! My favorite song has to be the one with Common and D'Angelo on it called "So far to go". If you close your eyes and listen to that song it feels like, "Your taking a walk on a summer day in a park...." Who hasn't J Dilla made beats for!

Do i even have to say it??? I think you already know how bad I wanna be a music producer... I never shut up about it... I don't think I could ever be as innovative as him, or make as big of an impact in the game as he did, but I'm willin to spend the rest of my life tryin... I swear one day ya'll are gonna know WHO!!! I!!! AM!!!

I'm not a producer or a rapper, but the way he flipped samples has to be the greatest. He was a magnificent producer, and introduced me to the world of samples. I wasn't really big on samples, until I heard some of his work. The first time I heard "Runnin," it was a done deal. When it comes to music, I don't have a "favorite" anything, but he's my favorite producer. Very influential.
My favorite Dilla track is Time: Donuts of the Heart and the stuff he did with Jay Electronica, and the Roots, the man was a genius RIP Jay Dee.
