REAL COUNTRY-remember JIM REEVES-ANY FANS?!

Question: sure do..my all time favorite is "THE BLIZZARD"!

Answers: sure do..my all time favorite is "THE BLIZZARD"!

I thought I was the only one left who listened to Jim Reeves. It is nice to know that there is someone else who still remembers who he is.

James Travis Reeves born in Galloway Texas. My favorite Jim Reeves song is "Welcome to my world"

He had the smoothest voice in country music.........

I do.

I spent a house payment (well, I do have a low house payment) on the 16-CD Bear Family box set "Welcome to My World." It has two and a half CDs of demos, which makes it worth the price alone (never mind the fine biography Colin Escot wrote). While he was no earth-moving actor, "Kimberly Jim" is an enjoyable movie (it's on DVD now, certainly a must-have for all Jim fans!). Jim had his demons, certainly, but oh what a voice. My favorite songs of his are "That's When I See the Blues (in Your Pretty Brown Eyes)," "Blue Side of Lonesome," "Where Do I Go to Throw a Picture Away," and "Angels Don't Lie."

BTW, did you know that he played guitar on the first recording session for the Browns?

Didn't he sing "He'll have to go"?

Four Walls
On the Blue Side Of Lonesome
Distant Drums.My favorite

Great singer who left this world much too soon. My favorite song by Jim is "Adios Amigo"
