its a Rock band and 10 yrs. later they wrote a easy listening song called Faraway.The music you listen to on the radio today is hip hop and r&b mostly.
I always classified them as country.
I think they're usually classified as pop rock or alternative rock.

I'd say they are definitely rock,And too narrow it down....I think I would say Adult Alt-Rock.
Their similar to 3 doors down and the Dave Matthews band.
