Sgt Pepper's might be the best concept album but in Abbey Road you can notice how perfect their vocal harmonies are, like in "Sun King" and "Because".
And the middley from "Mean Mr Mustard" is one of their biggest piece of art.

Today I will say Sgt. Pepper because of its historical significance.
When that album came out, it was as if Rock and Roll turned from black and white to color over night.
sgt. peppers lonely hearts club band!! mainly b/c of "a day in the life" and "with a little help from my friends"
Sgt. Pepper...but a caveat: Compared to the Stones, the Beatles were just a glorified boy band.
Any of the first seven, though "Help" and "Please Please Me" strike me as a little stronger than the others.
Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, it is just such a great album from beginning to end, and it changed music history!
although musically speaking they r a tie for me, i would say Pepper because Abbey was the last record they recorded, and at that point they were at eachother's throats and there was a lot of tention in the group, but in Pepper they blended very well.
and there's also the fact that Pepper raised the bar for other bands by 100%....................
