Question: if u like rock from now adays do u thank the ppl in mined of wat they've done 2 keep the rock and roll buissness for goin on this long or do u jus forget about wat the bands have done in the past for the rock and roll industry
sure i like rock now adays but i look back and say ty kiss or ac dc and so forth for wat they have done 2 make rock and roll so kick @$$

You are so right. I went to an audition with a friend and all they knew were new stuff. Which is great, I like new stuff too.
But how can you play guitar and not know Priest, and Metallica, and Hendrix, the list goes on. Pay homage and recognize that this generation did not invent cool.
I listen to a lot of modern music, but I also love the classics, I actually love the classic more. My favorite band is Pink Floyd and a lot of the modern bands I listen to clearly draw influence from Floyd.
