Opinions on Casting Crowns?!
Question: I'm a christian and want to start listening to a good christian band. People have recommended me Casting Crowns, but I want opinions before I go out and buy one of their albums. Are they good? Thanks in advance!

Casting Crowns is an awesome band... I too am into christian music and my mp3 player has ONLY christian music and I have these Casting Crowns Songs "Voice of Truth" "If We Are the Body" "EAST TO WEST" and "Lifesong". They are really good and I think If I were you I would buy a CD.
Oh my gosh, I started listening to Casting Crowns about 2 months ago, I LOVE them! but my very favorite I think is Mercy Me. Their song "So long self" is so reflective of alot of people. You will want to listen to Disciple, Matthew Sweet, Lincoln Brewster, Dave Crowder Band and Jeremy Camp. You wont go wrong with any of these selections.
They are an excellent group. I have been listening to them for the past 6 years. They tell it like it is. They don't mince their words. They show people where we are wrong in how we treat people, and that we need to be out there sharing the Gospel with all the people. Try listening to them on Smile.FM or K-love. One of the songs is If We Are the Body. God bless you as you find the truth.
yes, many of their songs are played on christian radio all the time. i think the most popular is their last two albums "Casting Crowns" and "Life Song". i know both adults and younger people who really enjoy their music.
They really are great. There are a few Christian groups that I just can't get enough of and Casting Crowns is one of them. I also love Sanctus Real, Mercy Me, Brandon Heath, Jars of Clay - they have an Essentials album that I plan on getting my hands on. I like Salvador, there's is a Latin sound. There are so many to choose from but these are at the top of my list. Look them up on the net and sample their music. Christian music has a lot to offer in many styles so it's a question of finding your taste. Oh, I almost forgot, SuperChick.

I love Casting Crowns, my favourite album is "casting crown", great lyrics. If you're not sure listen to some songs on youtube I'm sure you'll love them.

Casting Crowns is definatley one of my favorite christian bands.. If you're buying an album, I reccomend an older one.. their older stuff is my favorite.
but If you're wondering whether or not its worth it, IT IS. The music Casting Crowns puts out can really deepen your relationship with Jesus, and i would reccomend this music to anyone.
