taylor swift- writes her own songs and sings from the heart
carrie underwood- has an amazing voice and knows how to make a crowd emotional
now lets say someone has both theese quilitys i would choose them over either
carrie underwood, she looks better.
Carrie Underwood. I think her voice is better.
Carrie Underwood has a better voice and she is more caring and deserves the title "American Idol"
(which is a VERY GOOD show!!!)
Taylor is still coming into herself, although she is a good singer, I think her voice and lyrics need some time to mature. Carrie has been down that road, and her music reflects that. At the moment, I pick Carrie, but I think Taylor will be much better the older she gets.

Taylor Swift, because she is young and pretty and she writes her own songs and has a good voice. Carrie has a really good voice but some of her songs get on my nerves like "So small" And i love the song by Taylor swift called "Our Song"

They Both are VERY good singers I like both of them but for different reasons Taylor Swift is amazing because she's 17, and is just a small town girl who was lucky enough to get her dreams discovered. Carrie Underwood Like Taylor is a small town girl but Carrie became big on TV. I have more respect for Taylor Swift because she wasn't voted a star people just love her for who she is!! But I think in the long run Taylor will be the bigger star!!
I like Taylor Swift better. I think Carrie has changed way 2 much since American Idol. (she is starting 2 look a little skanky.) and Taylor wrote or co-wrote all of her songs on her self-titled c.d. which is very impressive, esp. 4 a 17 yr old girl.=]
Carrie Underwood, her voice is a lot better...but i like Taylor Swift songs but she sucks at concerts, and i think Taylor is a big star now but i think when she is a little older she isn't going to be a big hit anymore...
