Not everyone can play an instrument or sing well, so there's hip hop.

If they got skillz let 'em rap. As for fans: the d*ckriding white fans that jump on whatever rapper is hot at the moment and then abandon them (see 50 Cent) got none of my respect. The white fans that actually like the music and buy that sh!t (or download nowadays such as iTunes), I show love for though.
The Beastie Boys are pioneers of hip hop, so what would be the problem with white people cashing in on the profit? They have been there since the beginning. Remember 3rd Base? House of Pain? Milk-Bone? As long as they had lyrics, nobody cared what color they were. It's the Vanilla Ices, Paul Walls, and John Cenas that create the controversy.
I don't like it. Hip-hop is for black people, they are the best in it and they should make this kind of music. We, white people just can't feel it the same way. Hip-hop is.....I don't know, like a religion to them ( or at least I think so). And I think that if you want to do something right, especially music, you have to feel it deep inside you, otherwise it just won't work.
