Thanks all,Have a nice "Music" Day....

In 6th grade I joined the band and chose the clarinet because I loved how it looked and sounded. I remember the first day I got to bring it home for practice, that was exciting. I showed my parents, I was horrible but they were proud of me anyways. Well, mom was at least...

After we learned some music sheets we planned a Christmas event. My first debut as a musician, exciting. But that night I had no ride, I called up my friend and asked her but she said they had no room. So, I packed up my dress and clarinet and walked all the way to the concert and it was cooold. And you know what? I saw my friend's car on the way and it was just her and her dad, lots of room. I pretended not to see them but I was crying inside. I finally got there and my cheeks were bright red from the cold air...Alaska gets really cold during the winter.

I changed into my dress and tried to concentrate on my sheets and read the notes. There were a lot of parents in the gymnasium, mine weren't there. My mom had the night shift and my dad was passed out. I just pretended they were there, at least in spirit.

Well, we did fantastic and the crowd roared in cheers and whistles. I felt like a superstar! hehe

i can play the tambourine! :D

haha

Bamboo Saxophones
Carefully electronically tuned, ángel Sampedro del Rio's Bamboo saxophones consist of segments of bamboo successively larger in diameter.

This progression has now been demonstrated by acoustical studies as the most harmonically effective.

The joints are extremely solid and resistant over time. They have keys that cover toneholes outside the reach of the fingers. Since 1985 he has developed and built this instrument, with equal attention to acoustic design and aesthetics.

Their interior is protected against changes of humidity, frequent in all wind instruments. The work with mouthpieces led him to use different bamboo types that give the instrument its own and characteristic sound.

Piano, because it can be any mood, soft and bautiful or fast and jazzy. its a graceful instrument and i love the way you can glide your figers over it.

:)

I can play piano and cello (and poorly, the violin).

My parents made me take music lessons when I was little. I played the piano from age 5 and the violin from age 10. When I was 14 or so I switched from violin to cello because our orchestra needed more cello players.

i play piano i just luv it
i choosed it coz my grandmother plays d same

Guitar. It's been my mate and companion for many years. Why? I can transport it easily, so I take it with me wherever I go.

Guitar, Casio, Drum, Dhol, Octopad, Sexophone, Flute, Harmonium, Base Drum, Violin, Sitar, Veena, Tabla, Congo

I play the piano. I have been playing since I was about 4 years old. I'm a little rusty now though....been in the military for 5 years and to Iraq twice but I have a keyboard. Just not the same as my piano though.

19-year old Keith Mulhaney, of Dayton Ohio, plays the skin flute .

Guitar, Dobro, Banjo, Mandolin, a little bit of: Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass

I took piano lessons as a kid, then was told (by the band director) that I would play the clarinet, which I played all through school. Taught myself a little bit of flute. I'm now (30 years later) teaching myself to play guitar. I have mild asthma, so wind instruments are difficult to play and I don't have room for a piano. Guitar is a new challenge and something that can be played and enjoyed by itself (without being part of a band).

I chose the guitar mainly because I thought it was so clever upon making all of those sounds. I didn't know you could just get more then 100 sounds with a guitar. I thought it was just like a normal sounding guitar till I started playing and realizing I could make a techno song if I wanted lol or add in those effects to make it sound like no other instrument in the world. And because music never really ran in my family so I thought I should be the first to start it and someone for generations to come would do the same.

GUITAR FTW!

I can play one song on the piano, bur Brendon Urie (Panic! At The Disco) can play 4 instruments, but only the piano and guitar with the band.
