What is the saddest acoustic song you have ever heard?!

Question: preferrably a newer one

Answers: preferrably a newer one

Lisa Hannigan (and Damien Rice's) cover of Kirstin Hirsh's 'Your Ghost'.

oh dunya ke rakwaleeeeeee...........

they're all sad, but I don't mean unhappy sad I mean like, they make me sad because people still make them when they're so unbelievably boring.

neil young, oh lonesome me. please listen to this song. its on after the goldrush. its absolutley sad

umm i dnt know

Father and son.Yes, an oldie

probably "last kiss" by pearl jam or maybe "eyes" by rogue wave not really a sad song but has that sort of mood.
"you and me" by lifehouse

Miriam Stockley's version of Albinoni's Adagio, called Alla Notte.

not sure what you categorize as "new",
but "The Blower's Daughter by Damien Rice is the saddest + best song I've every heard.

Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton

I think one of the saddest songs I've heard is "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen. I love Jeff Buckley's version of this - it gives me chills. Lesser known, but very beautiful, is Canadian born/Australian based singer Wendy Matthews #1 90s hit "The Day You Went Away".
