It's me again?!

Question: well, i asked a question earlier about how kids now a days mostly listen to what is on the radio, and how I am 15 and Jay-Z is my fav rapper. Well someone thought that I was saying that Jay-Z doesn't have any hits on the radio but I was really saying that most of the people my age and at my high school don't listen to Jay-Z or Common or Outkast or Talib kweli or Nas much, but they do know the latest Soulja Boy song or Dance song or Lil Wayne song for that matter. So I was asking peoples ages and who their favorite rappers were so I can see how many people around my age have the same interest in music as me. I am sick of these made for radio type dance songs because that type of music is not timeless, it will not last, but thank you for all of the comments

whats up?I am a little old for your question but you ARE a contact of mine so I couldn't help reading it...I am 27 years old.I like the lists y'all have going on here.Sounds like at least SOME of today's youth isn't being held down by the bull they play on the radio these days.Anyway-I'm here to say that you guys should go back to your roots-our roots.Try some Run DMC,The Beastie Boys-these guys started it.I'm sure you know who they are but have you ever really listened to it?Try some Fugees,Wutang,A Tribe Called Quest,Arrested Development-hell even some Bone Thugs N Harmony.I promise you wont be disappointed-that is if you really do want to hear some "timeless" music.Thanx for takin the time to listen lil lady!
