Question: Everybody told me to be patient?/
But who was sleeping from house to house and basement to basement?/
the j-man/
Satan tryin to block my shine like raybans/
haters never wanna see you bubble/
they'd rather to see you struggle- that's life my n!gga/
alot of fakers in the place were invited to taste/
and told me right to my face, "yeah thats tight my n!gga"/
"you reppin that dirty south dog? aight, my n!gga"/
but they wouldn't lift a finger/
to light the incense or let the smoke linger/
i aint a Hot Boy, but the flow jalapena/
i'm never rappin bout how the calico go in ya/
mack-nolia crack-soldier creepin on the come up/
my grandmother won't leave the fwcking projects, i gotta raise the slum up/
these nerds and record labels played me dumb and dumber/
so i showed the industry my azz crack like a plumber/
now ASCAP bangin on my door like a plumber/
the fall's bout to put a period on the summer/
but back to the point/
they wanna see me fwcked up kicks scuffed up layin back with a joint/
they say “good things come to those who wait” but I don’t know about that/
and if you can’t feel this rhyme, then sorry jack/
you don’t know about rap/
and if you don’t know struggle you don’t know about black/
and I don’t give a fwck what bill cosby said/
cuz the problems is gonna exist when bill cosby’s dead/
and I don’t think the revelation from the supreme beings, residin or hidin out in bill cosby’s head/
this is the thought’s of a soldier/
and if you don’t like it play dead or rollover/
the game is so over/
the reign is so over (over, over, over…)

ah i see i aint the only one who knows about jay electronica! i like him too, but i think he might be a little too out there for most people...

whats the question?

It pretty cool but I think instead of now "ASCAP bangin on my door like a plumber/ " u should have changed "plummer to drummer" cause u used plumber in the last line. But its nice
