Holiday music recommendations........?!

Question: with the holidays coming up, I'm going to be spending a lot of time in the kitchen and I've pretty much worn out the usual Thanksgiving and Christmas carols/songs.

I'm definitely looking for more rock/metal ones.

So far I've checked out and recommend Gary Hoey......but can anyone think of anyone else?

Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a must... especially the first album.

However, I find that while cooking, that if I consume enough Jack Daniels I a) forget about the music, b) don't give a damn if anybody likes my cooking, and c) sleep through the inevitable fight that is going to break out sometime during the day.

NP: "If My Mind is Evil" - White Lion

***Oh, and Gary Hoey rocks!

***I must add that the Twisted Christmas album is great. Imagine "O' Holy Night" set to the tune of "We're Not Gonna Take It" and that're pretty much the album in a nutshell.

Twisted Sister's "A Twisted Christmas". What's more festive than stage makeup and bad perms?

Edit: LOL - that's awesome!

check out the Now (c) Christmas albums. There are three, most of the music is worthless ****, but some of it is good!

Twisted Christmas cd
its really funny

Hey santa by carnie wilson

The Jethro Tull Christmas Album was pretty good, although some of the songs are interpretations of traditional ones.

Hmmm... I'm thinking, but not coming up with anything else!

The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas - Local H
The Christmas Song - London After Midnight
Christmastime - Smashing Pumpkins
Ave Maria - Chris Cornell/Eleven
Happy Xmas (War is Over) - Not only is the original a favorite of mine, but I also love The Cruxshadows version of this song.

Ever hear the The Winter's Song by Angel...its a real great track.
