Alter bridge?!
Question: allright-most of you know on here that im a 80's rock/metal guy..dont really care for todays music. (most of it).
my friend gave me his alter bridge cd. and i kinda liked it. not love it, but liked it..but i hated creed.....
i loved alice in chains..are they still gonna stay together with a new lead singer? or are they out there with someone and i dont know who they are?

yeah. im back-someone reported me for a MCR statement and they suspended my acct. i must start ALL OVER AGAIN..

They actually suspended your account?! Over a stupid MCR statement? Wait... I have a better question, what were you doing wasting your time answering deaf MCR fans? Haha... Maybe I don't want to know the answer actually. Well anyway, I was wondering why I haven't seen you around, that would be why. For a while I thought I was the only 80's fan again!

this is the latest ive heard about AIC. i dont know why they dont just give the band a new name,its just not alice in chains without layne.

I've heard people mention here that they are touring with a new singer as AIC, but I don't know if that's going to be permanent. Here's what I found on Wiki, so take it with a boulder of salt:

I hated creed too and I reallly like Alterbridge! It doesn't really suprise me though because the music was never the problem with creed, it was the words and the singer.
I don't know about AIC, but we are glad to have you back!! I guess I'll start watching what I say now.
Im a huge prog metal fanatic and I like Alter Bridge. I was never really into Creed, mostly because of the vocals and lyrics.
I looked into Alter Bridge's lead singer, Miles Kennedy, and found his old band, the Mayfield Four. They arent that great either.
Im not sure about Alice in Chains, but I do know that they have reunited and have played shows recently with a different lead singer.
