How do you like Jay-Z's latest...American Gangster?!

Question: I think it's a classic because of the focus, production, samples, lyrics, and concept.

It reminds of me things I saw in the street coming up and it blends with the movie American Gangster wonderfully. Ech song describes a scene of the movie.

Check the lyrics on Pray, American Dreamin, No Hook, Roc Boys, Success, Fallen, I Know for further proof of it's classic element.

he should retire

It's whack... just like everything else Jay-Zed puts out...

I like it.

It's definitly top 5 material for Jay-Z. All of Jay-Z's haters on here are probally white. lol. (I know many white hip Hop heads who love Biggie, Nas, and Pac, but don't enjoy Jay-Z's albums.) If you really don't know why people like Jay-Z, ask any black Hip Hop fan who's listened to Hip Hop more than five years. Listen here y'all, Jay-Z is The American Dream. He went form rags to riches. From a small time drug dealer, to a rapper, to a businessman. And he still raps. And he got one of the finest chicks to ever live next to his side. He was mentored by Big Daddy Kane, then Jaz-O, then got his own deal at Roc-A-Fella Records with Dame Dash and Biggs. Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint are must haves for any Hip Hop fans (regardless of ethnicity).

i can't believe on how over rated this man is, i mean anything he puts out it will sell big even if its whack it will sell big, i say this man is the most over rated hip hop artist in hip hop history by far

it's a classic.. already..

say what you want but this album is in Jay's top 5, first time i listened to it. Crazy. Beats is crazy, samples is crazy, lyrics are bananas.
Those who don't appreciate it probably can't relate.

I'm vibin to it though.

It's an OK album...

Jay-z's older albums are much better.

Its a good album it was way better than the last album he put out

i seriously want to know why so many people like jay. he sucks like crazy
