Are $100 keyboards (piano) worth it?!
Question: Once my birthday and Christmas come around, I am sure I will have over $300. I was thinking of possibly buying a piano keyboard. The keyboards I see whenever I go to the store just to play for fun are usually about $100-$150. Are these good quality? Does anyone know if they break easily or if they are durable? I don't want anything too big either because I have limited space. Any suggestions? My desired price range is $75-$175. Thanks.
Oh yeah, does anyone know any good deals for music creator software for PC's? My desired price range for this, if possible, is $50-$75.

Yes, there a lot of pretty good keyboards out there that are cheap. Many of them have some really great sounds. They are good for the beginner to start on and find out if you want to persue learning keyboard. I have been playing keyboards
for 29 years and have seen technology increase and prices decrease. Keep on Rockin
if you can find one with "full size" keys - some of the cheaper ones have narrower keys which makes it harder to play - especially if you have fat fingers - I've had both types and they were fine quality wise
If you're looking for a toy, they are fine.
If you want an instrument, then no.
Check out a music store that sells old keyboards.

If your parents or someone you know has a membership to Costco, they have a nice, full size Yamaha keyboard in your range that would be perfect for you!
