I've always considered Delbert McClinton more of a blues/rock performer than a country performer. His big hit, "Giving It Up for Your Love," is certainly NOT country by any stretch of the imagination. He did write "Two More Bottles of Wine," which Emmylou Harris recorded. I have his album "The Jealous Kind" in my rock LP collection somewhere.
